Hi! I’m Emily.
I live in a mountain cove with a man, a girl, and a murder of crows.
When I’m writing non-fiction, I enjoy writing creatively about local heroes and weirdos, inspired chefs, divine dishes, arrowhead hunting, and experiences unique to my nook of the world.
In fiction, I write mostly dark comedy crime, sometimes with surreal elements, always dialogue-driven, and inspired by classic pulp-fiction.
Sidebar—Although the crows haven’t gifted me with sparkling treasures, they do graciously warn me when the coyotes or bears are in the road.
